John Rein Obituary

MERRIMACK, NH John A. Rein, Jr. died at his Merrimack, N.H. home unexpectedly October 3, 2008. He was 84 years old. Born in Boston, he lived in Weymouth until moving to New Hampshire in 1992. John was a loan officer at the former Shawmut Bank for over 35 years before retiring. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn M. (Bennett) Rein. Father of John A. III and his wife Francoise Rein of Nashua, N.H. and James M. Rein of Merrimack, N.H. Grandfather of Carol Ann Rein, Steven Rein and Ryan Fiore. Brother of the late Mary Sheppard. Funeral from the North Weymouth McDonald Funeral Home, 40 Sea St. (off Rt.3A-Bicknell Sq.) Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church East Weymouth at 9:00 Oclock. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 7-9 p.m. Army Veteran W.W. II. Interment Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth. Donations in Johns memory may be made to Catholic Charities, 75 Kneeland Street, Boston, MA. 02111.

Mr. Rein,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
