Hollis Green Obituary

SCITUATE Hollis V. Green, 81 years old, died peacefully at his home on October 2nd, 2008. He was the devoted husband of the late Vera C. Green, son of the late Beecher E. Green and Verna M. Green of New Brunswick, Canada and is survived by sisters Geneva and Kathleen of Canada. Hollis leaves his son Gerald D. Green and his wife Laura of Colorado, stepson Wayne H. Robbins and his wife Cynde of Scituate, stepson Glen S. Robbins of Halifax, grandchildren Jessica L Green and Cody M. Green of Nebraska, great-grandson Calvin M. Green, step-grandchildren June E. Lippard and her husband Rick of Duxbury and Wayne H. Robbins Jr. and his wife Pam of Cohasset, and great-grandchildren Merideth and Ricky Lippard and Nicole Robbins. Hollis worked for over 20 years for Tech Etch in Hingham and later for the Scituate Housing Authority. He was very active in the First Baptist Church of Scituate as Sexton and Trustee for many years. According to Holliss wishes, services are to be private. Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Scituate Special Missions Fund, 660 Country Way, Scituate, MA 02066 or to Hospice of the South Shore, 100 Bay State Drive, Braintree, MA 02185.
