Gloria G. McGrath HINGHAM McGrath, Gloria G. (Gavin) of Hingham October 6, 2008. Beloved wife of the late John B. McGrath. Loving mother of Elizabeth T. Harris and her husband Matthew of GA, Meg M. O'Donnell and her husband Edward of Milton, Kate G. McPherson and her husband Brian of Hingham and Gavin J. McGrath and his wife Janet of London, England. Sister of the late Vera Gavin. Also lovingly survived by 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Gloria was a resident of Hingham for the past 55 years where she raised her family. She was a graduate of Mt. Saint Joseph's in Brighton and graduate of Boston Univerisity. In her eariler years she was a school teacher for Boston Public Schools, a reading teacher for Hingham Schools and also worked for Talbots in Hingham. Gloria was a member of Delta, Delta, Delta Sorority, Hingham Yacht Club and Cohasset Golf Club. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and reading. Gloria played bridge and belonged to a bowling league. She was a volunteer at the Hingham Library and Hingham Historical Society. Most of all she loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., Hingham, Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul's Church, Hingham at 10:00 a.m. Visiting hours Tuesday, 4- 7 p.m. Burial in Hingham Cemetery, Hingham.
