SCITUATE Joan Charlotte Beale-Spear of Scituate, formerly of Hingham, September 22, 2008. She is survived by her brother Raymond Beale of Hingham, sister Alice Gleason of CT, children Rob, Judy & Brad, grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Funeral Services were held at Christ Lutheran Church, 460 Chief Justice Cushing Highway, Scituate, MA on October 4. Contributions in her name may be made to to Christ Lutheran Church, Attn. Jodi Spear Memorial Fund.

to jodi's family ,
i wanted to send my condolances to you.i am rita lally a friend of your mothers from golden living-we became fast friends .as a new amputee your mother took it upon herself to be my gaurdian angel-she would give me sound advice in all that concerned my new disability -we spoke regularly 3 or 4 times a week.she always brought a smile to my face .i was getting concerned when i did not hear from her ,i even had my daughter joan trying to find her .i was just fitted last week by united prost for my new leg (i knew he was your mothers prostetic person)i when he came to my home in dorchester the first thing i asked him was .where is jodi ?does she have a new tel #-he advised me of the sad news .i wanted you to know how much your mother reached out to me (when in a world that sometimes you find that very rare)i will miss her dearly /jodis friend rita
