Mr. Geary,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice-first for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during WW II and secondly for the citizens of Boston when you served with the BPD. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I am Frederick Skretch, son of Ann Skretch[reardon]Claire's younger sister.I remember Uncle Pat to be a hard working considerate police officer that oversaw Claires dad at their residence in Dorchester before his passing and them moving to South Weymouth in 1971.I have fond memories of my visits to both residences and last saw Uncle Pat a few years ago when my wife Marie and I had dinner out with him and Claire. We had hoped years ago that they might visit the shrine in St Augustine again,as we live in Blackshear,Ga. 2 hours away.I am glad he lived to see the Red Sox victorious and a candle will be lit to guide his journey home at St. Joesph's,Waycross,Ga. as we are unable to attend honoring him.If any assistance is needed, call 912-449-2464.
