Barbara A. Benting SCITUATE Barbara A. Nana Benting of Scituate, 84, beloved wife of the late John M. Benting Jr. peacefully entered into rest at Life Care of the South Shore, Scituate on October 14, 2008 surrounded by her loving family, Joanne & John Lannon and family of Scituate, MA and Susan & Scott Lovell & family of Marshfield, MA. She is also survived by Robert Benting of Sagamore Beach, MA and Allen Benting of Barrington, NH and her many friends and caregivers at Life Care and Tufts Medical Center North 6 in Boston, MA. Formerly of Somerville, MA and Norwell, MA, she was a member of the Forthian Club of Somerville, Norwell Womens Club, United Church of Christ of Norwell and the Red Hat Society of Scituate. All services private. Interment Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, MA. Arrangements by Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, Scituate. She introduced me to my first Lobster Roll, how to tackle a lobster for dinner, and many other fun things too numerous to mention.
