I was very sorry to hear about your mother, Jean. She was a very dear friend of my mother's (Rita Delaney) who past away 5 years ago. They both were very enthusiastic bridge players. We would see her when they both lived on the Cape. I do know how hard this is for you all. My thoughts are with you all in this time of sorrow. In the days ahead, may you find some small comfort in your many happy memories of your mother.

Kim - It's been a long time. My deepest sympathy to you and your brothers on the loss of your mom. I can still remember the parties on Standish Ave. The memories are important, hold on to them. They will always sustain you.

My sympathy is with you now as you suffer the loss of your mom. I met your mom and dad years ago as they welcomed me into their beautiful home in Mashpee. No couple has had more friends and created wonderful memories for so many. I know the past years since your mom lost your dad, especially the last few, have been very difficult and painful. Find peace in the knowledge your mom is with your dad, her close friends and relatives she has missed. She will always be with you. She avoided the stairway, as usual, and was lifted on 'eagles wings'. She loved her children and grandchildren very much as I know your dad did.
