Frances Venturi Obituary

PLYMOUTH Frances K. (Leonardi) Venturi, age 96, died on Oct. 14, 2008 at the Golden Living Center of Plymouth. She was the devoted wife of the late Victor Venturi. Born in Plymouth, MA on Sept. 2, 1912, she was daughter of the late Gottardo and Mary (Cavicchi) Leonardi. She was educated in the Plymouth school system. Mrs. Venturi was a lifelong resident of Plymouth. She was a member of the Golden Ages as well as the St. Peters Womens League. Her hobbies included crocheting and knitting. She enjoyed spending coffee-time with her dear friends, the girls. Mrs. Venturi is survived by her son, LeonardP. Venturi of Plymouth and her brother Ernest Leonardi of Plymouth. She was predeceased by her sister, Eleanor Vandini, and is survived by several nieces and nephews. The funeral Service will take place on Friday morning at 11:30 a.m. at the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth. Friends may call at the Cartmell Funeral Home on Friday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in St. Josephs Cemetery, Plymouth. Donations in her memory may be made to the Golden Living Center Activities Department, 19 Obery St., Plymouth, MA 02360.
