To Jims Family and Friends,
I had the great pleasure of working with Jim at The Holmes Group for two short years. I loved his stories and jokes, he always made me laugh.
It's clear by reading this guest book Jim has many friends and a family who loves him deeply. What greater gift can we give those around us than our love?
My prayers to his family. May you find peace in your memories and by keeping Jim's spirit in your hearts.

Jim was a friend in every sense of the word; a second father when I needed one, a teacher when I knew nothing or thought I knew everything, a mentor who helped me achieve my goals, an ear when I needed to vent, a comedian when I needed to laugh and a PITA just because he could get away with it.
I miss him and will miss him every day as long as I live.

I had the pleasure of working with Jim at The Holmes Group for 10 years. No one could tell a joke like him. I will never forget when he lost a bet with Babs and had to wear all white to work!! He looked like he was making his First Communion! He was a dear, dear man. We loved him and we will miss him.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Rest peacefully Jim.

I looked forward to Jim's e-mails everyday. Alot of jokes but sometimes thoughtful and serious messags as well. I started missing Jim on Oct 5th, that was the day I recieved the last message from him. For the family and his dear wife I am so sorry for your loss, and such a great loss it is. I never met Jim im person, but I know I will one day. I pray that as you share your memories of him that there will always be more laughter than tears.

Much love and laughter was shared by Jim during his visits to Maine. His generous heart will always be remembered and the food he prepared at the family gatherings has often been a fond topic in our conversations! Wayne and I were deeply saddened by this recent news. Our sincere condolences go out to Donna, Jay, Carrie, and Bobby and their families.

Jim, I find peace in reading these words from your friends. You have shown me how to love. You showed me how to be a true person. You have been my Dad for over 25 years. You were always there for me. You seemed to always have the perfect answer along with a great big hug when things were wrong. The only thing you were wrong about was the day my father died,25 years ago, you held me and told me that it would be the saddest and worse day of my life. Im sorry, but you were wrong...Losing you and not having you here with me for comfort is so much harder....You were my favorite person on earth..I think I told you that over and over....Thank you for the words of wisdom...Our last days together were so special....I will cherish our conversations....I hope that your Grandsons grow to be half the man you were. You were our everything......I will miss you...forever in my heart dad! I love you!

Aunt Donna, Jay, Carrie, Bobbie-
Our deepest sympathy goes out to you. I couldn't have asked for a better uncle and godfather. Jim was someone I always looked up to. He always found time in his busy work schedule to come to visit us, and that meant so much to me. I'm sure he is leading heaven in a rousing version of schnitzelbunk.

Uncle Jim,
Thank you for teaching me to have fun and not take life so seriously. Your presence always brightened the room and you had a gift for making everyone in your life feel so special. The world is a better place because you were in it. I am blessed to have been a part of your life. I will miss you so much.
Donna, Jay, Carrie, and Bobby,

Dear Donna,Carrie,Jay and Bobbie,
As a simple southern man, I know two things. One, Jim was a larger than life man. His was loving, could make anyone laugh, I was honored to know him and he changed my life for the better. Two, Jesus is having the best bowl of clam chowder he's ever had tonight.
All of you are in my thoughts and prayers tonight.

Donna, Jay,Carry and Bobby, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad (and husband Donna). He was truly a great guy. I have nothing but great memories of him, his cooking, sense of humor and amazing horse shoe skill !! No matter how mad I ever saw him he could not completely get the smile off his face, from the Giant Sunflowers in his garden to unscrewing all his Christmas Lights on Tenney Rd. He will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all you guys.

The passing of a friend of over forty years leaves a vacant chair at many tables and a lonely spot in our hearts. The memories of weddings, wakes, christenings, funerals, cookouts, horseshoes, cribbage, of watching his children and their children grow; these shared memories are never lost. They are the brief glimpses of the reward we will all hope to one day know and which Jim now embraces. A good man who loved his church, his god, his family and his friends lives on now in our memories and in our prayers.

I had the pleasure of working with Jim for only a year at The Holmes Group. At first, I didn’t know what to expect and what I found was caring, devoted husband, and a loving father and grandfather. He was a very special person and I was blessed to know him for that short period of time.

Donna, I am so sad that I didn't get to say goodbye. I kept always thinking that one day you guys would make it back for another one of our great family reunions. We do have some great memories of the ones you guys did get to.... the BEST clam chowder money could buy except it was homemade by Jimmy. That's how I will always remember him ...as Jimmy.. my big cousin, the one who babysat me in the 60's,my brother's godfather. My thoughts and love are with you as you cope with this loss. We almost lost Jimmy a while ago but God gave us another bit of life to enjoy with him as he recovered from that challenge. Love you all, cousin Debi in California(again) and getting divorced(again). HaHaHa!!
