George H.C. Wong

HOLBROOK George H.C. Wong, of Holbrook, died October 16, at age 90. He was born and raised in Boston and has been a resident of Holbrook for 50 years. He was a crane operator at the Boston Naval Shipyard for many years. George was a member for over 60 years and former commander and chaplain of the American Legion Chinatown Post 328. He was a 59 year member of the Rabboni Lodge of Mason and former Rabboni Tyler and a member of Acaica Club in San Francisco. Beloved husband of Margaret (Why) Wong. Father of Jeffrey A. Wong of NJ and Cindy S. Cheung of CA. Brother of Evelyn Lee of NJ. Also survived by 3 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held in Hurley Funeral Home, 127 So. Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Holbrook, Monday, October 27 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
