James Bishop Obituary

PLYMOUTH James R. Bishop, age 70, died on October 22, 2008 at his home following a long illness. He was the devoted husband of the late Ann Marie (Sharp) Bishop. Born in Boston, on March 22, 1938, Mr. Bishop was educated in Boston Schools and was a graduate of Wentworth Institute in Boston. He had worked as an electrical engineer for most of his life, retiring from Packard Instrument Company, an electronic and medical supply company. Mr. Bishop moved to Plymouth from Weymouth, MA in 1972. He was the Past exalted ruler of the B.P.O.E. in Plymouth. He enjoyed woodworking as one of his favorite past times. Mr. Bishop is survived by his children: James Bishop of Carver, Debra Wilson and her husband Peter, Robert Bishop and his wife Doris and Suzan Lunetta and her husband Jim, all of Plymouth. He was the cherished grandfather of Ian Wilson, Li-Ann Wilson, Megan Lunetta and Carly Ann Bishop. The funeral will take place on Monday, October 27, 2008, at Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth, at 11:30 a.m. Friends may call at the Cartmell Funeral Home on Monday from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in Vine Hills Cemetery, Plymouth.
