Sadie J. Dickie NORWELL Sadie J. (Alfieri) Dickie of Norwell formerly of Roslindale died Thursday October 23, 2008 at the Colonial Nursing Home in Weymouth. She worked for the Foxboro Co. formerly in Plymouth for over 20 years and retired as a supervisor. She was a former volunteer for the Norwell High School and she also enjoyed reading and crocheting. Beloved wife of William D. Dickie. Devoted mother of Earl F. Mills and his wife Jacalyn A. of St. Petersburg, FL. and James E. Mills and his wife Beth A. of Plymouth. Loving grandmother of Lauren E. Mills of Plymouth. Sister of the late John Alfieri of Dennis. Funeral from the SOUTH WEYMOUTH McDonald Funeral Home at 809 Main St. (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hosp.), Monday at 8:00 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Helen's Church, Norwell at 9:00 o'clock. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. Interment, Washington St. Cemetery, Norwell. Earl & Jackie,
Although I never met Sadie in person, she was always very kind to me and we would have nice converstations when she would call the office to talk to Earl. When Kristopher was born she crocheted him the most beautiful blanket. I always looked forward to getting her christmas card every year to hear about Lauren and of course Earl.
She will be surely missed. You are in our prayers.
