Edwin Francis Steele

ROCKLAND Edwin Francis Steele of Rockland, formerly of Milton, died at Caritas Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton on October 26, 2008. Born in Boston, Mr. Steele was a carpenter in the construction industry and served in the United States Army during World War II. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Ann (Finerty) Steele. Father of Joanne Steele Albaugh of Bridgewater, Michele Paula Earnshaw of Brockton, Christine S. Newfell of Northboro and the late Paul M. Steele. Brother of Thomas Earl Steele of Braintree, Dorothy Steele and Evelyn McDonald, both of Milton, and the late Anna Falcone, Bertha Shea, Herbert, Helen, Ethel and Louis Steele. Edwin is survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha's Church, Milton, on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends invited.
