Sheila Canonico HINGHAM Sheila (Collins) Canonico, of Hingham, formerly of Hyde Park, October 26, 2008. Loving mother of Joseph and wife Hope, Kevin, all of Weymouth, Tina and husband Greg Diercks of Plymouth and David of Hingham. Former wife of Joseph Canonico of Weymouth. Loving sister of Joan M. Dunn of Hingham, Maureen Cassidy of Weymouth, the late Patricia A. Monahan and the late John P. Collins. Sister-in-law of Ellen Collins of Hull, Richie Monahan of Quincy, Jimmy Cassidy of Weymouth and the late Jackie Dunn. Devoted grandmother of Melyssa Canonico and Jennifer Diercks. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Sheila worked for Hitchcock Shoe in Hingham for many years. She enjoyed dancing, Irish music and summer days at the beach. She had a great sense of humor and will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM, Thursday at 9:15 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Paul's Church, Hingham at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. Burial in St. Paul's Cemetery, Hingham. I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. Growing up, I remember how she used to cook us a big breakfast after one of the many slumber parties. I will always have fond memories of her.
