John O'Keeffe Obituary

PEMBROKE John A. OKeeffe of Pembroke died after a short illness on October 28, 2008. He was 71 years old. Mr. OKeeffe was born in Milton, and is the son of John and Mildred OKeeffe. Mr. OKeeffe graduated from Boston College and Leighton University. He served as a Green Beret operative in Vietnam. He was a member of the Orient Masonic Lodge in Norwood, and the Samoset Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. Loving husband of Wilma A. OKeeffe. Beloved grandfather of James C. Hill, John Pyrcz, Jason Nickerson, Ashley Pyrcz, Crystal Pyrcz, Sarah Kern, and Jamie Nickerson. Brother of Peter OKeeffe. Nephew of Richard OKeeffe. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, November 2nd from 3-9:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (Rt. 14) Pembroke. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 3rd at 11:00 AM at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 17 Church St, Hanover. Burial will be at the Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.
