I knew Marie since we were in High School together. We were the best of friens until I moved to Texas. We lost touch over the years but I often thought of her and the children. My deepest sympathy to the family and close friends and she will always remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Paul & family, I was so sorry to hear about your sister, Marie. As a parent of children who used crosswalks going to and from school, I know how much crossing guards love the children they protect and how much we as parents are grateful for their service. I am Allyson Clark's sister Linda. I just want to express my deepest sympathies to you all for your loss. I'm sure I must have met your mom once or twice on the beach in New Hampshire. To all of Marie's family: I am writing on behalf of my sister, Norma Carella to express her deepest condolences on Marie's passing. She cleaned her home for many years and they had become very good friends. Norma truly thought of her as one of the family. They had many good talks and times together. My deepest condolences go out to the Conley family. Although I did not know Marie, I feel so sorry for all of you that are going through this difficult time. From the newspapers I have read she seems to have been a wonderful person. Being a worker for the public her actions have helped many people stay safe.
Unfortunatley I can relate to this accident because my father (Melvin Dyer, Duxbury Police) lost his life this past August when he was struck by a car directing traffic. My whole family sends their best wishes to you all and stay strong. You are in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless.

To Conley Family: I know not anyone in this family nor Marie yet from the clips one can see Marie was a special angel on this earth and will be an exceptional angel in heaven. There is never an answer to the question of 'why' in death. Please know she will always be watching over the family and anyone who may need help just as she did in life. To the Conley Family -
Words are inadequate but it is all we are left with to offer condolences. Marie, Chris and Mike are warmly remembered by my family as we shared many afternoons at Garvey Park during the Dorchester Pop Warner days and a fondly remembered Sunday Afternoon dinner as guests at your home.
