Anne Crane Obituary

Anne M. Crane EASTON Anne M. (Treacy) Crane, 70, a resident of Easton for the past 36 years, died Tuesday morning at home under the care of her family and hospice. She was the wife of Daniel M. Crane for 48 years. Born in Boston on October 19, 1938, a daughter of the late Michael J. and Celia M. (Walsh) Treacy, she was a graduate of Matignon High School in Cambridge and Wyndham Junior College in Boston. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she was an active communicant of the Holy Cross Church in Easton. An avid reader, Anne had several interests including antiquing, interior decorating, gardening and collecting various artworks. Anne enjoyed traveling with her husband Daniel and spending summers for the past 15 years in Wellfleet. In addition to her husband she is survived by four children, Christopher B. Crane of Franklin, Carolyn A. MacNeil of West Roxbury, Laura J. Butler of Easton and Kathleen M. Crane of Easton; a sister, Janet M. Fairweather of Burlington; a brother, Thomas J. Treacy of Acton; five grandchildren, Kerrin and Colin MacNeil, Shane Butler, Matthew and Mark Crane; nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Kane Funeral Home, 605 Washington Street, (Rte.138) Easton, on Friday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in the Holy Cross Church, Easton, at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Furnace Village Cemetery, Easton.
