Mary Caron-Morse Obituary

WEYMOUTH Mary E. Ma (McCarthy) Caron-Morse, age 74, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 13, 2008. She resided in Weymouth for 38 years. Formally raised in Dorchester, MA. Born February 23,1934. She was the daughter of the late James and Margaret McCarthy. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend to many. Mary was a loyal red Sox fan and enjoyed playing bingo. Raising her family was her number one job, but she also enjoyed her job as a security guard and working at the local donut shop. Mrs. Morse is survived by nine children, William Caron of Hyde Park, Edward Caron of Taunton, Debra Barnard of Bridgewater, Elizabeth Benotti of Hanson, Judith Caron of Plymouth, John Caron of Rockland, Roy Morse Jr. of Weymouth, Ruthann Chafe of Plymouth, Lisa Gilberto of Weymouth. Stepmother of Richard Fiasconaro of Weymouth. Mrs. Morse is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Beloved sister of the late James McCarthy and the late Daniel McCarthy. Loving grandmother to 25 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Loving aunt to several nieces and nephews. Mary was known as Ma to most everyone. Funeral from the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington St., Weymouth Landing on Monday, November 17 at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, East Weymouth at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours on Sunday from 1 - 4 and 5 - 7 p.m. If desired, donations may be made in her memory to a charity of ones choice.
