J. Hudson Obituary

ABINGTON J. Duane Hudson, 70 of Abington died on November 14, 2008 at the Tower Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Canton after a period of failing health. He was born in Boston, son of the late Harold E. and Loretta G. (Kenney) Hudson and was raised and educated in Milton. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy Reserves. Duane has made his home in Abington since 1979. He was involved in sales for his entire working career starting with his father at H.E. Hudson Co. selling industrial and electrical supplies and later was involved in real estate and steel building sales. He retired in 2003. Mr. Hudson is survived by his wife D. Nancy (Hill) Hudson and many friends and neighbors. Rev. Douglas J. Hale will officiate at a funeral service in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St. ROCKLAND on Tuesday November 18, 2008 at 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Abington. Calling hours will be on Monday November 17, 2008 from 5-8 PM. Donations may be made to the American Melanoma Foundation, 12395 El Camino Real, Suite 117 San Diego, CA 92130. I was so sorry to hear about Duane. I know he's been having a tough time, so I'm sure he's better now. As you know, he could try my patience at times, but I truly enjoyed working with him in therapy and getting to know both of you. You are both in my prayers
