Donald Brown Obituary

PLYMOUTH Donald A. Brown, of Plymouth, died on November 17, 20008 at the Jordan Hospital at the age of 74. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Furtado) Brown of Plymouth. Father of Donald A. Brown, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Plymouth, Patricia Brown of Plymouth, Maureen Crowley and her husband Tim of W. Bridgewater and Todd Brown and his wife Weidong Li of Plymouth. Brother of Doris Werner of Kingston, Kenneth Brown of Plymouth and Alice Smith of NY. Grandfather of Jason, Michael P., Michael D., Alyissa, Nolan and Sean. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Donald was born in Kingston and has lived in Plymouth for 51 years. He was educated in the Weymouth Trade School and was a self-employed contractor. He was a Korean War Veteran in the Army. Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 from 10-11 a.m. at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St., (Rte 106), Kingston, MA, followed by a mass at St Mary's Church in Plymouth at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 10 a.m. Donations can be made to the Lupus Foundations of America, 425 Watertown St., Belmont, MA 02178. Mr. Brown,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
