Milton John Kelley

WEYMOUTH Milton John Kelley, a lifelong resident of Weymouth died Friday Nov. 21, 2008 at the South Shore Hospital. Milton was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator for the Weymouth Water Dept. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War on the USS Canisteo in Norfolk, VA. He loved spending time with his family; particularly his granddaughter Shannon. He also enjoyed fishing, the Boston Red Sox and he was a former Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop 92 and Assistant Scout Master of Troop 19. Beloved husband of 48 years of Marie A. (Tedesco) Kelley. Father of John J. Kelley and Robert F. Kelley of Weymouth. Grandfather of Shannon N. Kelley of CT. Brother of Rita Quirk of Hanover, Virginia Kelley of Weymouth, Carol Kelly of Weymouth and the late Edmund Kelley, David Kelley and Kenneth Kelley. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth Landing on Tuesday at 9:30 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
