Marilyn R. Yorston HOLBROOK Marilyn R. "Mal" (MacDonald) Yorston, of Holbrook, formerly of Quincy, suddenly, December 10, 2008. Former wife of Robert L. Yorston of Cambridge. Loving mother of Richard A. MacDonald of Beverly, Darlene R. MacDonald of Quincy, Heidi B. Bowlen of Quincy and the late Donna Thorley, Marilyn Yorston and Kellie Yorston. Devoted sister of Daniel MacDonald of FL, Sharon Canale of Quincy, Jo Ann Megna of Holbrook, Jacqueline Bonvie of Whitman and the late Barbara Chiasson, Janet Jomides and Douglas Megna. Daughter of the late Donald and Ruth (Boomer) MacDonald. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 4 great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 So. Franklin St., (Rte. 37) Holbrook, until 9:45 a.m. on Monday, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Holbrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday, 2:00 6:00 p.m. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Marilyn was born in Boston and died at her home in Holbrook on Wednesday at the age of 72. Marilyn grew up in Boston and graduated from the Jeremiah Burke High School. Marilyn worked as a courier for Smith, Kline, Beechman Laboratories for over 15 years. Mal was an avid bingo player. I was very sorry to hear of the loss of Mal. She was fun to work with at both Park Trans and SBCL. My mom Sandy Ratliff passed away back in May, so both will be greatly missed. Again, very sorry for your loss.
