Robert Wasielewski Obituary

Robert J Wasielewski, Sr. Rockland â€" Robert J. Wasielewski, Sr., 64 of Rockland, died on September 29, 2007 at his home. He was born in Boston, son of the late Felix and Wanda (Sosnowska) Wasielewski. He was raised and educated in Dorchester and was a graduate of Wentworth Institute in Boston. He had been employed for the past 46 years as a service engineer in the grinder manufacturing industry, most recently for the Devlieg-Bullard Co. His work brought him all over the world in a consulting and advisory capacity. Bob was a member of the Seaside Club in Plymouth, the Holbrook and Braintree Rod and Gun Clubs and was an avid hunter and fisherman. A talented musician, he played the trumpet and volunteered his services for many years playing “Tapsâ€� at many veteran’s funerals. He is survived by his wife, Andrea F. (Dennis) Wasielewski. His children, Robert J. Wasielewski, Jr. of Fl. James B. Wasielewski of Plympton, John S. Wasielewski of Plymouth and Carrie A. Wansiewicz of Newton. He was the grandfather of Robert J. Wasielewski, III, Stephen J. Wasielewski, Brian M. Wasielewski, Jessica A. Wansiewicz, Michael J. Wasielewski, Jennifer R. Wasielewski, Matthew J. Wansiewicz and Michael Roberto. Funeral from the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. ROCKLAND on Wednesday at 8:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Holy Family Church at 9:00 AM. Burial in Holy Family Cemetery.
