Known as "Kate" by her friends and family
Age 64, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at home surrounded by her loving family. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., on Monday, July 7, 2008, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with Funeral and Committal Service there Monday at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Those wishing may make memorials to the Southern Tier Hospice and Palliative Care Inc., 11751 E. Corning Road, Corning, NY 14830. A "Candle of Remembrance" may be left for the family in Obituaries at www.olthof.com.

Although miles seperated us, Kate was always close in my heart. My prayers and sympathy go out to Ed, David, Deanna, Korey Lynn and Jamie -- as Kate will be dearly missed...but always remembered. She was a true treasure and her loss will be felt by many.
