Sherry Taber Obituary

TABER, Sherry E.
Age 68, of Ridgebury, PA, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2008, at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. She was born September 24, 1939 in Endicott, NY, the daughter of Walter and Mildred Parrish Foulkrod. Sherry enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, gardening and traveling. Sherry is survived by her husband of 43 years, Keith Taber; her children, Thomas and Kathy Darrow of Athens, PA, and Keith "Scoob" Taber, Jr. of Jobes Corner, PA; her grandchildren, Thomas W. Darrow, Shawn P. Darrow and Colt K. Taber; her great-grandchildren, Caleb Darrow, Gabrial Darrow and Kylicia Darrow; her sister, Joyce Trout of Athens, PA; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. At her request, there will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 13, 2008, at 4 p.m. at the Mt. Pisgah Wesleyan Church in East Smithfield, PA, with the Rev. Andy Phillips and Rev. Lynn Ensign officiating. Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home, Inc., 225 South Main St., Athens, PA, has been entrusted with the arrangements. I am very sorry for ur loss. Sherry was wonderful lady with a great since of humor. She used to bowl with my mom Sue Dailey. I rememeber when my son was born and she would help my mom on wednesdays with him. I can rememeber she always made someone laugh. Sherry will be greatly missed by all of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with keith and his family.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I will always remember the good times we had in Little League and working together in later years. She was a wonderful woman. She will be sadly missed. Keith and family, I am so very sorry at hearing of the passing of Sherry. Sherry, Sue Dailey and I used to bowl on Wednesday mornings at the Rossi Lanes for many years. Sherry was a funny lady, always had us laughing. Sherry will be greatly missed.
