Carl Husner Obituary
Age 60 of Elmira, NY passed away Monday, July 21, 2008, at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira. Carl was born on October 4, 1947 in Lyons, NY to the late Carl and Margaret (Coats) Husner, Sr. Carl worked for Totem Taxi in Elmira for many years. He loved playing bingo and was an avid Buffalo Bill's fan, but spending time with his family was most important to him. He will be missed dearly. Survivors include his fiancee, Lillian Hockenberry of Elmira; his daughters, Jennifer (Jack) Hubbard and Kristina Husner, both of Elmira; son, John (Andrea) Husner of Elmira; sister, Diane; brothers, Ernie, Ronnie, Richard and Terry; grandchildren, Gregory, Jesse, Cody, John II and Destiny. Carl was predeceased by a granddaughter, Jessica Husner. Family and friends are invited to call Friday, July 25, 2008, from 12 to 1 p.m. at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

growing up i called this man dad. i still remember many things he would say and do that i will always remember. i love all you guys more then words could convey. and it was so nice seeing you all yesterday even if the terms of reunion where of the worse reasons. see you all soon.

Thank you so much to everyone who has taken the time to show your support to us. Dear Jen and the Husner Family: I was so sorry to learn of your dad's passing. I remember him as a kind, friendly man who loved his family dearly and always had a smile when I came by. Having lost my dad last month Jen, I know how hard this will be for you and your family but I truly believe that memories keep them with us and comfort us as we go on with our lives.
