SNYDER, Chris Brian
Age 59, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on July 22, 2008. A visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, July 28, 2008, at Advantage Maryvale Chapel, 6901 W. Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ. Interment services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made to The American Heart Association, in Chris' name. Arrangements entrusted to Advantage Maryvale Mortuary.

Chris... I am with Jacque and Mom in Washington and I spoke with Ken. He said he signed yor book but there is no entry made. You are missed and loved by all and more. I don't smoke ciggaretts anymore and you helped. I just thought you wold like to know. Lv and Praise the Lord

To Chris I wrote this with you in mind...rest in peace.

Then...Alright!
If you step beyond your own mountains and molehills and are able to see another's plight,
The hardest, heaviest, most awkward fight suddenly looks easier in a slightly different light.
Stand firm in support or give a steady little push seems to mow down a problem taking flight.
To assist a friend, share a smile, somehow turns it all to a bit of delight!
And if then one would grab ahold with every bit of might,
Surely then the end of such a scary ride will evidently come into your sight!

You will be dearly missed.

Chris was my baby brother, by age. I'm not sure that he ever knew the strength that Christ in him imparted to others. For me, he was a quiet - gentle - humble - loving - giving & forgiving man of God and in my heart - he was my "big" brother. He was a man whose heart's desire was to please the Father every day in every way he could; in thought & in deed. His example caused me to want to live the same way. He showed his love for me by sharing Christ's love to me and by always being there for me in prayer and in life. His faith & encouragement helped renew hope in me many times. I can hardly wait to praise the Lord with him again! I miss him so much.

Just trying to remember how life was with you, but what keeps coming back is the time when you were about 10 years old. We were all around the kitchen table and you were talking too much and I told you to be quiet or I would knock you from here to kingdom come and further,more you wouldn't get to watch Shirley Temple Fairytails. And you replied "I know it, cuz I won't be here"
You were like your father who was sharp in retort. Now you are with him and I will miss him and you and when he passed over, you took over his place. You were then the head of the family. Like him, I will always love you.

To think that I will never see your face again

I just read Chris' obituary.I'm sorry to hear about his pasing. I have nothing but fond memories of him. Especially our time in the service together.
