Helen Ruth
(McIntire, Comfort)
Was born July 21, 1917 in Quimby, Iowa, the daughter of the late Alvah and Jenny (Brownmiller) McIntire, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 28, 2008, at the Green Home in Wellsboro, PA at the age of 91. Funeral services honoring her life will be held at the Olthof Funeral Home the following day at 11:00 a.m. Her Pastor, the Reverend Douglas Hodge, will celebrate Helen's service. Interment will follow in the Alder Run Cemetery, Millerton, PA. Memorial donations may be directed to the Jackson Summit Baptist Church, 2851 Route # 328, Jackson Summit, PA 16936; or to the Green Home, 37 Central Avenue, Wellsboro, PA 16901. A "Candle of Remembrance" may be left for her family in obituaries at www.olthof.com
