Lew and Family,
Bill and I were very sadden to read of Jean's death in the Star-Gazette and our sympathy goes to you, the boys and their families.
As you know, Jean and I were instructors together at both Arrnot Ogden Medical Center School of Nursing and the Robert Parker School of Nursing. We shared fun times together-work responsibilities as well as lots of talk about our families. (much in common with three sons).I always enjoyed stopping off at your home and catching up on all the activities. My impression was a very busy, happy household with lots of laughter and good humor.
Jean was a good friend and a caring and dedicated teacher and I can imagine how proud she was of her 5 grandchildren. My love and thoughts are with all of you.

Uncle Lewie, Jim, Bill, David & Families,

We were very sorry to hear of Aunt Jean's death. She was a wonderful person with a great sense of humor (which was tested repeatedly over the years). My son reminded me that she also served a very valuable family function as one of the milestones to adulthood - you knew you were starting to grow when you became taller than Aunt Jean. I imagine she would have laughed and said something about setting bigger milestones, but at least two generations appreciated her for this. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

To the VanDuzer Family,
Jim, Bill & David--It has been a long time since we've seen each other (high school??). However, I think of all of you whenever I drive past your parents' house on the way to my parents' and have wondered how and where you all were. I am so sorry to read about your mom. Please know that you are all in my toughts and prayers during this time.
Blessings,
