Geraldine Lowe Obituary


LOWE, Geraldine May (Scott)
Passed away January 27th, 2008, from complications of Alzheimer's. Geraldine, better known as "Tootie", was born on June 3rd, 1919 to Fay and Marietta Scott of Elmira, New York, who are deceased. Her husband, Kenneth Dodd Lowe passed away in July 2005. His ashes are interred in Woodlawn Military Cemetery, in Elmira, New York. She leaves behind her sister, Marion Houston of PennYan, New York; her sons, Kenneth Scott Lowe and Craig Dale (Linda) Lowe; daughter, Cheryl Mae (Don) McCarthy of Colorado Springs, Colorado; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Tootie was a seamstress in Wellsville and Elmira, New York, prior to moving to Colorado Springs in 1996. A Memorial Service took place in Colorado. Her body was cremated and her remains will be interred with her beloved husband of nearly 64 years. A Memorial Service is planned at Woodlawn Military Cemetery, in Elmira, New York at 2:00 p.m. August 15th, 2008, their Anniversary, officiated by Trinity Episcopal Church, where they will then be "Together Forever". In place of flowers, the family requests a donation to the Alzheimer's Association in her name. She now remembers those she loved.
