SMITH, Janice M.
Age 81, of Mansfield, PA, passed away August 25, 2008 at the Green Home Inc., Wellsboro, PA. She was born March 27, 1927 in Covington, PA, the daughter of Ralph and Ora Harvey Kendrick. Janice was previously employed as a hairdresser and seamstress and she was an avid reader. She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Loren and Patti Kendrick of Mansfield, PA; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Donald Benson of Mansfield, PA, Shirley and Dr. John Bennett of Bethesda, MD; one niece and six nephews, Lucia (James) Hall of Mansfield, PA, Lance Benson of Key West, FL, Byard (Shalini) Bennett of Grand Rapids, MI, Colin (Ginger) Bennett of Bethesda, MD, James (Tammy) Kendrick of Tioga, PA, Donald (Cindy) Kendrick of Millerton, PA, Ronald Kendrick of Athens, PA; great-nieces and nephews, Daniel, Timothy and Susannah Bennett, Chanon Surovec, Justin, Nathan, Joshua and Nicole Kendrick and Amanda Webb; great-great-nieces and nephews, Madison and Alex Surovec and Alivia Webb. Janice was predeceased by her husband, William T. Smith. Friends are invited to call at the Gary W. Wilston Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 130 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA, Friday 1-2 p.m. Funeral services will follow there Friday at 2:00 p.m. with Robert Wandell officiating. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Mansfield, PA.
