Hooey H. Obituary
Age 84 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Wednesday August 27, 2008. Mr. Hooey owned and operated Bob Hooey's Service Station in Elmira Heights, NY for several years and worked part-time at Twin Tier Tires. Arrangements are entrusted to the Lynch Funeral Home 318 West Broad Street Horseheads, NY. The family will provide their own flowers and those wishing may remember Mr. Hooey through memorials to the Big Flats Historical Society, 258 Hibbard Rd., Big Flats, NY 14845.

We remember the good times we had on the parade square dance float,and how hard Bob worked to decorate and get us all together. We're sorry not to have kept in touch. We hope you will accept our sincere condolences for the loss of your husband and father.

So sorry to hear of Uncle Bob's passing. I hadn't seen him in many years but I have good memories of going to the cottage on the lake and him taking us for boat rides. And of course the gas station, where he gave us ice cream when we were kids. His Donald Duck impressions were always entertaining.

I have a lot of good memories from childhood of going to Hooey's Service Station in Elmira Heights. Bob was a great guy and a good friend to many.
