STROUD, William R. "Billy"
Age 24, of 333 Broadway, Elmira, NY, passed away suddenly Monday, August 25, 2008. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Annie M. Stroud, Marsha Bellows and James Rifenburg. He is survived by his father, Carl Stroud; mother, Robin Rifenburg; brothers, Carl D. Stroud, Carl I. (Alicia) Stroud, J. Earl (Carrie Shock) Stroud, Pat (Heather) Sinsabaugh, and Michael Shelly; sisters, Hope Baker and Crystal Szymanski; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Billy will be missed by all of those whose life he touched. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira, on Tuesday, September 2nd, from 3 to 4 p.m. His memorial service will follow at 4 p.m.

Robin, Carl and Jessie,

I know it has been awhile for me to get to talk to ya'll and it takes a thing like this to bring me out, but I am so sorry for your loss, I love you guys so much, I miss talking with you Robin, you were a great friend and sister (well kinda) and Carl, you and I grew close and then it was like I wasnt there for you. Again sorry for your loss, I didn't know Billy all that well, but he did have a special place in my heart just like the rest of ya'll.

i have known you for a long time, and you were the sweetest,loving caring guy. you would do anything for anyone. we had alot of good times together, you were really good to my daughter, and my grandson brandon. and for that i am greatful. you were like a son to me, and i will surely iss you. and i will always carry you with me where ever i shall go in my heart. just know that i will always love you billy. we will never forget you.
