Edward Parke
Of Gillett, PA
Was born April 4, 1916 in Troy, PA, the beloved son of the late Harry Shepard and Jennie (Parke) Ballard, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, September 1, 2008, at his home at the age of 92. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Gillett Baptist Church (Route # 14 South) to honor Edward's memory on Friday, September 5, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. The Reverend Allen H. Goss and Reverend Charles Root will celebrate Ed's Memorial Service. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of his family in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Troy, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Gillett Baptist Church, Route 14, South Gillett, PA 16936, in his memory. A "Candle of Remembrance" may be left for the family in obituaries at www.olthof.com
