Roy Burdick Obituary
Age 81, of Horseheads, and formerly of Campbell, passed away Sept. 3, 2008. He was born in Interlaken, NY in 1926 to the late Chester and Viola Burdick. Roy joined the United States Marine Corps during WWII. He graduated from Corning Community College in 1971 with an Associates Degree in Applied Science. Roy is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Doris; his son, Roy Jr. and his wife, Doreen of Painted Post, NY; his daughter, Cindy Toothacre and husband, Scott of Ramona, CA; four grandchildren, Samantha, Mathew, Ryan and Karlee; and one great-granddaughter, Sierra. Roy was also predeceased by his brother, Raymond; and sister, Jeanne. Private services are planned in Woodlawn National Cemetery in Elmira, NY. Arrangements with Barber Funeral Home in Horseheads.

Dear Aunt Doris,
We just learned today of Uncle Roy's passing and we are deeply saddened. I will remember fondly the days in Valois, the days at Grandpa and Grandma's farm and the visits when I lived in California. Uncle Roy had such a good sense of humor. My thoughts are with you and we hope to see you soon.
