Esther Williams Obituary
Age 85, of Waverly, NY, passed away Friday, September 5, 2008, at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. Esther was born on December 10, 1922 in Elmira, NY to the late George and Minnie Rice. Esther will be dearly missed by those that knew her. Survivors include her children, Edward Woodruff, Christine Elias, Larry Woodruff, Millie Lacey and Dawn Allen; sisters, Harriett Langstaff and Dee Dee Vanderpool; brother, Robert Rice; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Esther was predeceased by her son, William Rice; sisters, June De Primo, Kate Wagner and Minnie Eames; brothers, George "Sonny", Richard "Dick" and Frederick Rice. Family and friends are invited to call Wednesday, September 10, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 8 p.m. Interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
