I remember Brents Kirby days and the times he would fall asleep on my living room floor. I would put a pillow under his head and a blanket over him and let him sleep.

Brent was such a sweet young man. I remember him falling asleep on my living room floor and putting a pillow under his head and blanket over him and letting him sleep. He was always polite and respectful to me and fun to have around. It was such a shock to learn of his passing. I hope you found peace in heaven, Brent..you are greatly missed!

My heart aches for you. I cannot even begin to imagine the enormity of your loss. Brent (and Brian and Joelle) were such a large part of my childhood--so many memories--more than I could even begin to list. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Much love,

To Joyce, Brian, Joelle, their families, and Mary and Sawyer: Brent was very special in our lives. We took him to Tennessee on a family vacation and got to really love him. When he started selling Kirby vacuums, he came to our house to eat my lasagna. He loved my lasagna. He will be sorely missed. We loved him and love all of the King family. Our prayers go out to the Lord in your behalf. We love you. The Cintrons

Tori,
When you lose someone you love,
Your life becomes strange,
The ground beneath you gets fragail,
Your thought make your eyes unsure;
And some dead echo drags your voice down
Where words have no confidence.

Your heart has grown heavy with loss;
And though this loss has wounded others too,
No one knows what has been taken from you
When the silence of absence deepens.

Flickers of guilt kindle regret
For all that was left unsaid or undone.

There are days when you wake up happy;
Again inside the fullness of life,
Until the moment breaks
And you are thrown back
Onto the black tide of loss.

Days when you have your heart back,
You are able to function well
Until in the middle of work or encounter,
Suddenly with no warning,
You are ambushed by grief.

It becomes hard to trust yourself.
All you can depend on now is that
Sorrow will remain faithful to itself.
More than you know, it knows its way
And will find the right time
To pull and pull the rope of grief
Until that coiled hill of tears
Has reduced to its last drop.

Gradually, you will learn acquaintance
With the invisible form of your departed;
And when the work of grief is done,
The wounds of loss WILL heal
And you will have learned
To wean your eyes
From the gap in the air
And be able to enter the hearth
In your soul where your loved one
Has awaited your return
All the time.

Hang in there! I love you!!

Dear Joyce,
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. It is never easy. I don't know if you remember me or not, but my husband was Gordon. He passed away quite suddenly too, several years ago. Only God knows why He allows those so young to go before us. I will pray for God's comfort for you, as only He can give.
Love and Prayers,

Dear Joyce,
Ralph and I want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. It has been a long time since we saw you last, but we remember visiting you in Rochester. You made waffles with strawberries and whipped cream on them for breakfast. That is still one of our favorite breakfasts. I wish I had been able to meet your children. Ralph and I couldn't make it to the family renuion that Marilyn had. Just know that we keep you in our hearts.

Your cousin,
Lois

Joyce and family: My heart is breaking over your loss! I am still trying to get over the loss of my husband, so I can not imagine getting through the loss of a husband, father, son, and all the connections that this "child" has developed for all that are suffering heartache right now.
What I do know is that we have a promise that God has a plan for us, and that is not one of chaos, but a special purpose.

with all of that in mind, you are all in my prayers.
