COOPER, Dorothy
Marie Colucci
93, of Binghamton, died Saturday, September 13, 2008. She was predeceased by her husband, C. Hill Cooper; and her daughter, Dorlene Marie Bregoff. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Joseph Morrison; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Hill Cooper and Cathy Cooper; a son-in-law, Matt Bregoff; her grandchildren, Andrea Thompson, Justin Bregoff, Sarah and Beth Cooper, Heather Gordon, Courtney Mahaney and Peter Morrison; two great-grandsons, Nicholas and Benjamin Gordon. Dorothy still has seven living brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews. She was a devout member of St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton. Dorothy was born in Elmira, NY, the oldest daughter of Andrew and Daria Colucci. Dorothy graduated from Elmira Free Academy, attended Elmira College and graduated from Broome Community College in 1978. She was a Real Estate Broker and worked for M.S. "Mike" Lynch Realty until she retired at age 73. She loved her home and family and was proud of her Italian heritage. Dorothy also loved golf and bragged about her two "Holes-In-One". A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton, Friday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Elmira. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Thursday from 3-5 p.m.
