Deck,

I'm horribly sorry to hear of your loss. Although I never had the pleasure to your mother, I know that she was more than an amazing person because of the man that she raised. I miss you and love you Deck, and you and your family are in my heart always.

To Helen's Family,

My name is Carol Ham, formerly Carol McPherson. I am sorry to read of the passing of Helen. When I was growing up in Elmira in the 50's, my parents, Jane and Charlie McPherson, were very friendly with Helen and Jim. I remember when Jim came home on leave from the service and was all decked out in his uniform. I thought he and Helen were such a handsome couple! I have many fond memories of Helen and Jim, Marge and Andy and Mary's daughter, Toni. Toni and I were friends when I was very young and were in tap dancing class together. Please accept my condolences on the loss of Helen.

To the family of Helen Decker,
Helen was a wonderful neighbor and friend. She was the first person to welcome me to the neighborhood. She brought me cupcakes. They were all decorated with different colored icing and sprinkles. She loved my dog Murphy and gave him a daily bone (sometimes two). I will miss her very much.
