Helen Rudzki Obituary

RUDZKI, Helen G.
"Babcie"
Age 81, of Elmira, was reunited with her husband, Vincent P. Rudzki, on Wednesday, September 24, 2008. Helen was born October 21, 1926 in West Paterson, NJ, the daughter of Frank and Lottie Muzyniski Puzniewski. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Vincent P. and Linda Rudzki of Morrisville, NC, with children, Jonathan (Pam), Christopher and Krystal; daughters and sons-in-law, Bernadette M. and Raymond Kreydatus, with children, Raymond, James (Melanie Chandler), Matthew (Elizabeth), and Marianne (fiancé Jason Wood); Mary T. and A.J. Montanarella, with children, Laurianne (Bryan) McHenry and Anthony (Rachael Jackson) Montanarella; Anne M. and Kevin Bremer, with daughter, Brittany; great-grandchildren, Vincent, James, Andrew, K'Lynn, Olivia, Andrew, Devon, Arianna, Louis, Justyn, and Eve; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins in Elmira and New Jersey. Helen met Vincent while she was living in New Jersey and they were married after his service years with the U.S. Army during WWII. It was then that they moved to Elmira, where they raised their 4 children. She was a longtime communicant of St. Casimir's Church. Helen's family was the focus of her life, whether it was her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, she loved them all and they in turn loved her. Friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, September 26, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Casimir's Church. Interment will follow at St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery. Donations in Helen's memory may be directed to either St. Casimir's Church or St. Mary's Renovation Fund. Helen's family extends their sincere thanks to the wonderful care given her by Dr. Albert Devlin, Dr. Bruno Mazza, AOMC 4D Nursing Staff, and Southern Tier Hospice Staff.

My Dearest Aunt Helen, You always referred to me as your little sister. That is because I lived with you and Babcie & Dzidzie when I was 2 years of age and you played with me and told the story of me locking myself in the brooder house with the chicks. I will miss you. Love Marcie
