Carlton McClain Obituary
Age 46, of Millerton, PA, died Sunday, September 28, 2008, at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. Carlton was born November 30, 1961 in Canandaigua, NY, a son of Carlton and Mabel (Boop) McClain, Sr. Jim and Lisa would have celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary on Monday, September 29, 2008. He was a mechanic, and was a member of the North American Hunting Club. Jim is survived by wife, Lisa (Bolt) McClain; sons, Carl and Justin McClain of Burdette, NY, Douglas and Patrick McClain of Millerton, PA; a daughter, Katie McClain of Burdette, NY; father, Carlton and stepmother, Cindy McClain of Branchport, NY; two grandchildren, Karmin McClain and Hannah Yawl; brothers and sister-in-law, Mark McClain of Himrod, NY, and Bruce (Katina) McClain of Dundee, NY; sisters and brother-in-law, Peggy (Cliff) Perry of Watkins Glen, NY, Julie (Steve) Bayer of Newport News, VA, Missy (Gene) Irwin of Himrod, NY; mother-in-law, Fran Bolt of Millerton, PA; and uncle, Loren "Oopie" Cornish of Millerton, PA. Preceded in death by a sister, Cindy McClain. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2008, from 12 (Noon) to 2 p.m. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. with the Pastor Laurie Greenlaw officiating. hay uncel jim its david i just wanted to say hi and i miss you so much. I just wanted to say that I remember the time we were staying at Grams in Dundee down town. I don't remember how old we were, I just remember we were young. You, Bryan, and myself were laying in bed and I was Afraid of the dark, and you had this really big pink glow in the dark ring and you climbed up on the table in the kitchen and held the ring under the light and brought it back to bed and told me don't worry Randy I will make you feel better and you made the ring swirl around and you held my hand until we all fell asleep singing, BINGO.... And Gram held yelled at us and said you boys better get to sleep or Granddad was gonna take us up on the hill and feed us to the hogs...Live on my cousin you suffer no more and will greatly be missed... I will attach another angel bell on to my harley right next to Uncle Tommys so we all can be free in the wind I miss our long phone calls man you can talk... Any how miss you dearly and always ride free Jimmy and watch over me as I ride...

lisa where do i start we have been there for each other all these years jim was a great person always willing to get dirty greasy anything to help another person or his 5 children. ill miss him you have treated like one of the family and thank you for that jim was a smarty pants always there with his jokes to cheer you up he was very stubborn gave his cancer a heck of fight but hes better now and we know this. he will be missed but never unloved. thank you again for letting me be there with you till the end i will never forget it. take care if ever need to talk just call me anytime ive told ya im there to talk or just listen peggy

jimmy has a wonderful wife lisa , she stuck by him no matter what was going on & right by his side til the end. he was very bull headed & stubborn. he was a strong person fought til the end , i will miss his phone calls , hey sis whats up . his laugh .always helping some one on cars or his own.

Lisa, Patrick, Doug, we r so sorry about Jimmy. We love him and alway's will. I was was never so happy my my father, Jimmy's uncle June) said i was to call this guy cause he wanted to talk to me and when i found out it was jimmy i cryed and even know we only had a very short time together again i enjoyed it. My husband Tom really got to like Jimmy. Our boy's Tommy and Ronnie loved Jimmy the same. Lisa i want to tell u that we r so glad that u took care of Jimmy for all the year's. We love u just the same Lisa and we love the boy's to. Jimmy we will alway's love and miss u but we know u will alway's be here with us all . we love u jimmy . My heart and prayers go out to you in this time of sorrow. I have now and will always have so many fond memories of one of my "Favorite" cousins. I remember him and the boys Brucie and Mark all climbing the big tree at daddys to hang the rope so that all us kids could have the swing. I can hear him saying my name when I would be in trouble. "Marty" I will miss him very very much! I was glad I was able to tell him that on Sunday so lisa thank you very much for allowing me to do that!
