To all my family, there is an emptiness in our hearts that only time will help us through. We loved both of our parents so much and the void that is there is so great. I love all of you so much. My heart brakes because I am so far away. Lets never loose sight of the love we have for one another. I miss all of you so much. Thank you for the support you have given me during this, love forever, Walt

MY TRIBUTE TO PAUL WOOD SR, IN LOVING MEMORY…. BY DEBBIE STRINGHAM
REMEMBER ME….
…WHEN THE SUN SHINES AND WARMS YOUR FACE AS THE COLOR OF THE AUTUMN TREES GLOW WITH THE MASTERS GRACE
… WHEN IT IS HARVEST TIME AND YOU SEE THE TRACTOR ROLL BY AS THE LIVESTOCK IN THE PASTURE CATCH YOUR EYE
…WHEN IT IS DARK AND THE SHINING STARS WARM YOUR HEART
…WHEN THE WINTER SNOW FALLS AND MAKES EVERYTHING BRIGHT AND NEW
…WHEN RAIN COMES AND NEW LIFE BLOOMS IN ALL ITS SPLENDER
…WHEN THE MIRACLE OF GODS NATURE SHOWS IT’S FACE
…WHEN YOU TRAVEL THE COUNTRY ROAD AT A SLOW PACE
…WHEN YOU EMBRACE THE BEAUTY OF ALL YOU SEE
…WHEN YOUR FAMILY IS NEAR OR WHEN THEY ARE FAR
…WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE YOU CAN’T GO ON
…WHEN LOVE SURROUNDS YOU LIKE THE WIND
… WHEN DREAMS COME AND GO
…WHEN YOU CATCH A GLIMPSE OF JESUS BY HELPING THOSE IN NEED
…WHEN HAPPINESS OVERFLOWS INSIDE AND YOU FEEL AS IF YOU CAN’T BREATH
…WHEN THE BIRTH OF A CHILD FILLS YOUR SOUL
…WHEN YOU LET GO OF THE ANGER THAT RAGES WITHIN
…WHEN YOU KISS YOUR CHILDREN, YOUR HUSBAND, YOUR WIFE
FOR THE GIFT OF LIFE IS A PRECIOUS THING, EMBACE IT… LIVE IT… BE HONEST AND TRUE, FOR ALL THINGS HAVE THEIR TIME AND PLACE, A BEGINNING, AN END, A RESTING PLACE. DEATH HAS NO VICTORY FOR I HAVE FOUGHT A GOOD FIGHT AND FINISHED THIS RACE CALLED LIFE. JESUS HAS CONQUERED DEATH FOR ME AND FOR YOU. KEEP ME IN YOUR HEART AND I WILL ALWAYS BE WITH YOU. FOR THIS BODY HAS GIVEN IN, YET MY SPIRIT AND SOUL WILL LIVE FOREVER. I PRAY I WILL SEE YOU ALL ON THE OTHER SIDE.

To All of the Woods Family,
My heart hurts for you during this time. You lost a very precious part of your family.
My memories of Uncle Paul will be etched in my heart. Very special times spent on the farm. He was a special part of family gatherings. Uncle Paul had a way to make me laugh, smile, and to just enjoy all God has given me.
Every morning he would be up at the crack of dawn to read his Bible and to have quiet time…a time just between him and God.
His eyes would light up when speaking of all his children and grand-children. The love he had for you all was over flowing. And you could tell he treasured each of you.
I felt honored in having your father as my Uncle. And I thank you for sharing him with me.
Uncle Paul was so special to me. I will miss him deeply.
You all are in my thoughts and prayers

Thelma and Family,
My sympathies to all of you. Paul may have been a Paul Bunion but he was a very gentle man. I worked for Paul when he was Plant Manager at Elmira from 1985 to 1989. He was very easy to get along with and was kind and genenous to many. Not too many saw this side of Paul's personality. He is with the good Lord and I hope the Lord doesn't ask him to shake his hand. Hugs to all of you.

Dear Thelma and Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Paul's passing. He was one of my very favorite human beings. I worked for Paul as Quality Manager at the Elmira plant. I was warned about his "bonecrushing" handshake before I came back to Elmira from Wharton, N. J. When John Boedicker introduced us, Paul did his best to put me on my knees with that handshake, but it turned out to be a draw. We both laughed and we became good friends. I will always be thankful to Paul for his kindness and compassion as I went through some very difficult family problems during my lengthy move from New Jersey to Elmira.
May God bless him in every way and may God's love be with the entire Wood family.
Sincerely, Al Rice
