Eva Shutts Obituary

SHUTTS, Eva H.
Age 84, of Lawrenceville, PA, died on Monday, October 13, 2008, in the Green Home in Wellsboro, PA. Eva was born April 17, 1924 in Canton, PA, the daughter of the late Raymond and Estella May (Avery) Porter. She was the wife of the late Clyde Shutts. Eva retired from Corning Glass. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and her pomeranian dogs. Eva is survived by her children, John (Brenda) Curran of Sumterville, FL, and Barbara Curran (William) Armstrong of San Antonio, TX; a sister, Favorite Biker of Horseheads, NY; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and Melvin Butler, her loving companion for over 30 years. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, October 16, 2008, from 3:30 to 4:00 p.m. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation at 4 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral chapel with Pastor G. Victor Perry officiating. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
