WEISKOPF, Shirley A.
Of Elmira Heights, NY
Was born July 8, 1938 in Elmira, NY, the daughter of Paul and Elizabeth (Taft) Bonyak; went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 19, 2008, peacefully at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center at the age 70. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Donald R. Weiskopf; beloved father, Paul Bonyak of Elmira, NY; children, Bryon (Cathryn) Weiskopf of Pine City, NY, Shirlene Mase of Horseheads, NY, Sharon Bottone of Holley, NY; stepchildren, Dave (Joyce) Weiskopf of Horseheads, NY, Ron (Michaelene) Weiskopf of Roseville, PA, Kimberley (Jan) Stanton of Elmira, NY; brother, Robert Bonyak of Florida; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her mother, Elizabeth (Taft) Bonyak; stepmother, Madge Bonyak; stepdaughter, Linda Cummings; and brothers, Tom and Bill Bonyak, predeceased Shirley. She loved camping, enjoyed fishing, and was an avid bingo enthusiast. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY, on Thursday, October 23, 2008, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services honoring her life will follow the visitation (8 p.m.). Interment and committal services will take place in the Fitzsimmons Cemetery, Southport, NY, privately at the convenience of her family. A "Candle of Remembrance" may be left for her family in obituaries at www.olthof.com
