Steven Gardner Obituary
Steven B. Gardner, age 46, of Inverness, FL, died Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at the Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center in Inverness. Mr. Gardner was born in Corning, New York on September 17, 1962, and moved two years ago from Allenstown, New Hampshire. He was a retail manager for the T.J. Maxx store in Inverness. His enjoyments in life were reading, building model airplanes and watching movies. He loved playing in the pool and building Lego's with his son, David. He was a true blessing to all the people he touched. Mr. Gardner is survived by his wife, Patricia; two sons, David H. Gardner of Inverness, Michael Gardner of Virginia; daughter, Julia C. Gardner of Inverness; parents, Robert and Carol Gardner of Big Flats, NY; two brothers, David (LuAnne) Gardner of Horseheads, NY, Jeffrey Gardner of Thousand Oaks, CA; sister, Karen Gardner of Austin, TX; niece, Jessica Harvey; and nephew, Timothy Harvey. A celebration of life memorial service was held Friday, September 26, 2008, at 4:00 p.m. from the First Presbyterian Church of Inverness with Rev. Dustin Sedlak officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Southern Tier Hospice & Palliative Care, 11751 East Corning Road, Corning, NY 14830; or other charities. Cremation arrangements were under the care of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home of Inverness.

I went to Horseheads High School with Steven, we were in the Class of 1980. Steven was a nice & funny guy. I am sorry to hear of his death. My thoughts and prayers are with his family & friends.
