Age 75, of Millerton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at Soldiers and Sailors Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Southport/Elmira, NY, on Friday, October 31, 2008, from 1:00 to 3:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with Funeral and Committal Service there Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Alder Run Cemetery, Jackson Township, PA, at the convenience of the family. Those wishing may make donations to Tony's family to help defer expenses, C/O Rose Hamilton, 5451 Main St., Millerton, PA 16936. A "Candle of Remembrance" may be left for the family in obituaries at www.olthof.com

Rose, My heart goes out to you and your family. Tony was not just a husband, father and grandfather but he was also a friend to many. I know your hearts are breaking and I wish there were words to express my deepest sympathy to you all, but there are none. The love of a husband, father and grandfather is a very unique and multi-faceted experience, one that you will hold in your hearts forever. Because I have lost my loved ones; I know how little words written on a page can mean to you at such a time, but I still want to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Rose, you and Tony have held a special place in my heart for as long as I can remember. I know you all will miss his nurturing presence very much.
