Ronald Coats Obituary

COATS, Ronald L., Sr.
Age 65, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2008, after a courageous battle with cancer. Ronald is survived by his wife, Lois Coats; children, Ronald Coats, Jr., Patricia (Allen) Coats, Michael (Kelly) Coats, Karen (Dana) Decker; six grandchildren, four brothers, one sister, and his favorite pet, "Puzzles." Ronald was a truck driver for over 43 years; he was a very mechanical man who enjoyed taking things apart. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Southport/Elmira, on Tuesday, November 4, 2008, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with Funeral and Committal Service there Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Woodlawn Cemetery. A "Candle of Remembrance" may be left for the family in Obituaries at www.olthof.com.

early 80's.moved to atl and honestly lost touch with everyone but seen the coats and seen your name and was like wow!u were crazy white boy like a urban legend man.heard u were holding the L down for minute now.man i was little younger and looked up to you and i know u will get through this my man.keep your head up and if u still as tuff as u was it will work out for u man. god be with u and yours ..JT
