Steven Crumley Obituary
Age 25, recently of Elmira and formerly of Ohio and Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on Sat., Oct. 13, 2007. Steven was born in Decatur, IL, Oct. 22, 1981. He is survived by his mother, Pamela and Jerry Goins of North Wales, PA; father, Kenneth (Jill) Crumley of the Philippines; maternal grandmother, Margaret Peto of Akron, OH; paternal grandfather, Paul Crumley of Elizabethton, TN; the love of his life, Holly Baumgardner also of Elmira, NY; sister, Samantha (Nicholas) Olson of Alpharetta, GA; stepbrothers, Wayne (Frances) Goins of Baltimore, MD, Phillip (Angie) Goins of Douglasville, GA, Brian (Juliana) Goins of Naples, FL; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his uncle, Brian Estep. Steven was a longtime employee and roughnek with several gas exploration companies. He was for the past 7 years employed with Fortuna Energy in Big Flats, NY. An avid collector of memorabilia and other grand oddities, he was also an avid fisherman and car enthusiast, and owner of Z06 Corvette. Steven was a hard working, proud and loyal man with a gentle heart. Your love will remain in our hearts forever. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home, 413 So. Main St., Horseheads, NY, on Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, from 6-8:00 p.m. where a celebration of his life will follow at 8:00 p.m. Burial services will take place privately in Blueridge, GA, at a later date.

I didn't know Steven, but his mother,Pam,my cousin,and their home in Akron,OH,was a favorite weekend place for all of us kids to visit when growing up.Pam, I'm so sorry for your loss...Be strong....

Holly, I am so sorry to hear about Steven. He was such a wonderful man and I had the pleasure to watch him grow to what he became. I love him with all my heart. We got to know steve through Union Drilling. He worked hard as the super worm. He was a good guy. We will miss him. He is in our thoughts and prayers. We hope his family and loved ones will be able to heal in time. We are here for you all.
