Dorothy Augustine Obituary

AUGUSTINE, Dorothy J.
Age 89, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2007, at Bethany Manor. She was born on June 12, 1918 in Athens, PA. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Augustine Sr. in 1996. Survivors include her son, Stanley (Irene) Augustine of Interlake, NY; daughter, Judith (Harry) Porter of Waverly; grandchildren, Rick (Diane) Augustine, Sue (Joe) Bellinger, Shelly (Mycoma) Coleman, Tory (Melanie) Featherson, Dawn (Jeff) Mattison, Jona (Randy) Donovan and Eric (Wendy) Featherson; 19 great-grandchildren. There will be no prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, October 22nd, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church with Father Richard Farrell as celebrant. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Dear Family: My deepest sympathy to all the family. I have fond memories of our "Tuesday Night Ladies" bowling team. I have thought of Dorothy often, and will remember her in my prayers. God bless you all.
