Joe was so kind to me in 1979. I met Joe when I came to Tulsa to attend a church. The day I arrived, I had no place to stay so he invited me to come to his house and use the spare bedroom until I could get my life together. I soon was able to pay rent for my room and lived with Joe and Mark, another roommate, for many months. One day he came and told me I had to move out. I asked why and he said with a huge grin, "I'm getting married".
Over the next few years, we were friends and spent time together, mostly getting together at his Sonshine Auto Sales on 11th street. Joe always had a way to make me laugh at things. We lost touch when he moved away. I was thinking about him today and found this obituary. Hey Joe,I'll be seeing you again!

Dear Norma and family,
I was so sorry to hear about Joe's passing. I pretty much lost touch with him after our years at St. Casimir's mostly because he was a year older than me. Thinking about him as "Loco Joe" makes me smile.
With sincere sympathy,

Norma ,Bobby Sorry to hear of Joey's Passing. I seem to recollect some pool parties. One of my best memories was a road trip in my old roadrunner. Off to Lancaster Speedway outside Buffalo ,N.Y. and see Deep Purple ,Ginger Baker ,Buddy Miles and more. It was a mini Wooodstock. Let's not forget all good times at family weddings ,funerals ,The White Eagle and other gatherings. I'm sorry we didn't stay in touch more as we age. Joey was a good cousin and friend. He will be missed. My condolence's go out to all his family. You will all be added to my prayer's. Cousin Frankie God Bless.

Bob, Jackie and family, My thoughts and prayers go out to you at this time. I still have my "SOONER" shirt that Joe brought to me from OK (25-30 years ago)! God Bless.

I couldn't believe my eye's when I saw my child hood pal was gone. God took my daughter earlier this year. And now he's taken my Buddy Joey. Almost from the time we got out of dipers we hung out together.I've only got to see Joe once in the last 20+ yrs. Was truly hoping to see him again before one of us left this world.I guess I'll have to catch him in the next life. I truly wish we had stayed connected. As far as memories I have a trunk full. My Best wishes to the Old and New Family. Truly wish I could be there. Sean
